You can only connect using the WPS button (push button). There is no "WPS3" mode or PIN-based connection here.

Hello all, I am using the repeater with an ASUS RT-AC86U. However, I constantly have disconnections between the repeater and the router. No internet connection on the repeater signal. Latest firmware on both devices. Does anyone have a tip for me? Thanks

I have the same combination and only trouble (especially with 5G). It now works with 2.4G.

Hello, I bought the repeater but I can't set it up... I have Sunrise Box - I switch it on, the device lights up but I can't find the router ASUS_RPAC66 to connect either on the laptop or on the mobile phone. What can I do? Thanks :-)

No, unfortunately this function is not available. I also advise against using this device. Repeater constantly disconnects from the router (also from ASUS). I switched to Powerline and since then I have a top connection in the whole house with 3 floors and old copper cable from 1922.

I am desperately trying to log in to the configuration interface: IP is correct, page from repeater appears, password requested and entered (default password), then repeater requests a new password (change, because default is insecure), after new entry the first page for logging in appears again and apparently it did not accept the new password from the previous entry, because now it is not possible to log in with it (wrong password), but again with the default, after which the game starts all over again with password change.... Does anyone have a tip? Merci!

I use the device with an Asus RT-AC88U (which I attached after my Swisscom box) and have no problems. Basically, repeaters work independently of the manufacturer of the router. Authetification and encryption methods are standardised.
