Yes, the illumination of the keyboard can be switched off. A CH keyboard is built into this notebook.

What is the difference between this version and the version you can buy everywhere else (and usually cheaper): Asus rog strix scar ii gl504gm-es167t ?

This model has different configurations than the Asus rog strix scar ii gl504gm-es167t model, which is not for the EU market. In terms of hardware, however, both variants are equipped in the same way, but configured for different markets.
