The ASUS ROG Chariot SL300C and the ASUS ROG Chariot X have some similar features, but there are also some important differences:
## Key Differences
- Material and durability:
- The ROG Chariot SL300C uses a combined construction of tactile Leatherette and high-density cold foam, while the ROG Chariot X features premium PU leather that offers improved abrasion resistance and a durability of more than 5 years.
- RGB lighting and controls:
- Both chairs have built-in ASUS Aura RGB lighting, but the ROG Chariot X has an intuitive one-touch control to easily switch between RGB colours and effects.
- Seat width and comfort:
- The ROG Chariot Core (similar to the Chariot X) has a wider seat base compared to the Chariot SL300C, which can result in better comfort for taller users.
- Price and availability:
- Price and availability can vary, but generally higher-end models like the ROG Chariot X often tend to have a higher price point.
## Which is better?
The choice between the two chairs depends on your specific needs and preferences:
- If you value higher durability and premium materials, the ROG Chariot X might be the better choice.
- If you're looking for a well-balanced value for money and don't necessarily need the extra features of the Chariot X, the ROG Chariot SL300C might be enough.
Both chairs offer excellent comfort and sturdy construction, but the ROG Chariot X offers some additional premium features that set it apart from the SL300C.
In fact, you can compare products directly on the Asus site (hope the link works):

According to the Asus page, this is actually the only difference (and I can tell you from experience: no one needs LEDs in their neck).
The best thing is to ask Digitec directly :)
