Questions about Aqara Hub M3 (Zigbee)

This hub is for aqara devices. Even if it does support third parties, it would probably not be reliable. You need something like the "Add To HomeKit Homebridge Server | HomeKit Bridge" or "Hoobs" or, what I would do is to use home assistant. Certainly a bit of a learning curve, but if you are serious about smart-home "home assistant" is extremely cool and powerful. I've been using it for years, first installed it on a raspberryPi, later bought their hardware, never looked back. Integrates pretty much every smarthome device you can think of in one way or the other. hello, the bridge can be integrated into homekit... even with matter. the range varies depending on the accessory. cams, for example, can be reached across the entire network... temp.sensors e.g. only approx. 10m or with wifi accespoint correspondingly further:-)
