Unfortunately, I don't know. As a rule, these covers are not compatible with each other. That's why I had to buy a new one. Otherwise ask Apple. Greetings Heike

The camera does not stick out. Completely flat lying.
Since the camera is bigger on the 2020 model, I would rather buy the matching case.
