Yes, USB-A adapters and USB hubs with Thunderbolt ports work perfectly with the Apple Mac Mini 2023 with M2 chip - but there are a few things to bear in mind: Compatibility at a glance 1. thunderbolt/USB-C ports: The Mac Mini M2 has two Thunderbolt 4 ports (USB-C). You can connect USB-C to USB-A adapters as well as complete USB hubs. 2nd USB-A adapter (single): Yes, a USB-C to USB-A adapter works, e.g. for keyboard, mouse or USB stick. Recommended: Adapter with USB 3.0 for full speed. 3. USB hub with 4× USB-A: Yes, works - as long as the hub is equipped with Mac-compatible hardware and a USB-C connector (or is connected to USB-C/Thunderbolt via adapter). A USB-C hub with at least 4 USB-A ports is ideal, optionally with its own power supply (for devices with higher power requirements). Recommendation for 4× USB-A on the Mac Mini: USB-C hub with 4-7 USB-A ports, e.g. from Anker, Satechi or Belkin. Make sure that it supports USB 3.0 or better (not just USB 2.0). If you connect a lot of power-hungry devices (e.g. external SSDs, MIDI controllers): It is better to choose an active (power supply-based) USB hub.

There are a few things to consider when choosing a monitor for the Apple Mac Mini (2023) with the M2 chip: 1. number of monitors: the Mac Mini (2023) with M2 chip supports up to two external monitors simultaneously. 2. connection types: You can connect one monitor via Thunderbolt (up to 6K at 60Hz) and another via HDMI (up to 4K at 60Hz). 3. resolution and refresh rate: Make sure that the monitors do not exceed the supported resolutions and refresh rates. For example, a monitor can support up to 6K at 60Hz via Thunderbolt and up to 4K at 60Hz via HDMI. 4. compatibility: It is advisable to choose monitors that are specifically designed to connect to Macs to avoid compatibility issues. Overall, you should make sure that the monitor fulfils the technical requirements and limitations of the Mac Mini (2023) with M2 chip.

No instead of Ctrl key it is Windows or Mac symbol key. Special characters may be on another key because Mac Windows special characters are drawn differently on the keyboard.

Googled the question, answer from Apple: MacBook Pro models with M2 Pro or M3 Pro chip introduced from 2023 onwards support up to two external displays simultaneously, depending on the resolution (up to 8K) and refresh rate (up to 240 Hz) of the respective external display, e.g. two displays with up to 6K at 60 Hz via Thunderbolt. Ditto Studio Display: 27" 5K Retina Display, one Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) upstream port for a host (96 W for host charging), three USB-C downstream ports (up to 10 Gbit/s) for connecting peripherals, storage and networks. So it works, but if the simple Google question and answers sound too complicated, I would think twice about getting two super-expensive high-performance monitors and such a powerful Mac.

This is a new device. You can distinguish it as follows: Nothing → This item is new and in its original packaging As good as new + tested → This is an item that has been opened and returned to us unused. Has been checked by us. Used + checked → This item has been used and returned. Has been checked by us. Used → These are items that are offered for resale by other customers.

This Mac Mini only has 1 Gigabit Ethernet. With 10 Gigabit, 16 GB Ram, 512GB SSD you are quickly at 1500 €, which is 500 € more than mine cost. 512 GB is recommended, as the 256 GB SSD is too slow. Mactrade has the Mini with 10 Gigabit for 1500 €. Is it worth it?

I hope I can answer the question correctly: I don't know exactly what you mean, Apple always allows you to set all possible languages during installation, I had no problems with "German" during installation, so I think French should also work without any problems. You can immediately switch to the French keyboard layout. Apart from that, the "little" MacMini is really great - fast, simple and absolutely silent!!! A super box !!!! Martin

I just read that in the Digitec specifications, a strange value? On the Apple website you can configure the MacMini M2 and there is a choice of 1GigaBit/s or 10GigaBit/s (+110 CHF). Digitec should explain what their specification of up to 8Gb/s means, or correct it if necessary.
