These cameras do not usually run on rechargeable batteries, which only provide 1.2V. They need the 1.5V of the alkaline batteries. I would take a look at the operating instructions.

The supplier has received only positive feedback here. The camera has IP protection class 66 and can be used between -30 and 70°. However, photos and videos together is not feasible. The power consumption of this device is low. It is therefore crucial which type and quality of battery is used. Standby time is approx. 6 months.
