Hi - the material, according to here and Alessi, that is used is called Edelstahl (Should be somewhat like Stainless Steel in english) - so, that steel has a higher amount on chrome and a much lower amount on steel/iron. More Steel/Iron is needed for induction (must be magnetic to run on induction). Alessi Pito has 18/10, does not say much (18%chrome, 10%nickel) but in general, stainless steel is "useless" on induction-stoves, but sometimes, it works, if the bottom-plate is diffrent (has to be mangnetic). To be honest: I do not think, that you can use this on induction, and tried a search but did not find enough conculusion (some say yes, some say explicitely no, not for induction - might depend on a diffrent version).
