Adobe really doesn't make it easy! In my case, I asked ChatGTP about the best way to extend my current Adobe Creative Cloud Pro plan and take advantage of the favourable offer. The result was as follows: My submission to ChatGTP: The retailer writes: 1. go to creative.adobe.com/redeem 2. enter the code. Question: When would be the best time to enter the code if my plan runs until 25 June 2026? ChatGTP's answer: Very good - this wording from the retailer is the crucial clue 👍 This makes it clear that this is a classic prepaid/redemption code and not a plan that starts immediately. Now to the specific answer to your question: ✅ Optimal time to enter the code 👉 On 25 June 2026 (or shortly thereafter) AND only after your current plan has officially ended. 🔍 Why exactly this time is optimal Your current status Active plan runs up to and including 25/06/2026 Until this date you have full utilisation contractual commitment Previously redeemed code would: ❌ start a second plan in parallel ❌ do not "attach" a term Adobe treats codes like this: Prepaid codes do not extend an active plan They start a new billing period Therefore: Never redeem as long as an active plan is still running 🗓️ Concrete procedure (recommended) ✔️ Safest expiry (best practice) Mid-June 2026 Cancel the current plan Check confirmation: "Plan ends on 25/06/2026" 25.06.2026 (or 26.06.2026) Go to: creative.adobe.com/redeem Log in with the same Adobe account Enter code New plan starts seamlessly 📌 Result: No overlap No double payment No downtime ⚠️ What you should definitely NOT do ❌ Redeem code before 25/06/2026 ❌ Redeem code while you still have an active Creative Cloud plan in your account ❌ Try to "renew earlier" - this does not work with Adobe 🧠 A little extra tip (from experience) Adobe sometimes doesn't update the plan status until a few hours after midnight. 👉 If you want to be on the safe side: Redeem the code on 26/06/2026 in the morning This avoids any error messages like: "There is already an active plan" 🧾 Remember this Only redeem the prepaid code when the old plan has actually ended. → For you: 25/26 June 2026

This sounds annoying, but it actually happens sometimes with Adobe prepaid licences. Normally the code should extend the existing period, but if it was activated as a new plan, two plans are now running in parallel. What you can do: - Log in to your Adobe account (account.adobe.com) and check if the plans are running under the same Adobe ID. - If two parallel plans are displayed, you must contact Adobe Support directly. Only they can merge the two plans or extend the term correctly. - Have the prepaid code and your purchase confirmation ready. You cannot solve the problem yourself, only Adobe customer service can rebook the licences.

Acrobat Reader is free of charge. If you mean Acrobat 'full version' (reader and PDF editor), yes it is included. I use it daily. Greetings.

Price promotions at digitec.ch - including around events such as Black Friday - depend on several factors, including availability, purchasing conditions, stock levels and agreements with the manufacturer or supplier. If a product does not receive a promotion for a longer period of time, this may be because the margin is too low, the product is only available in limited quantities or the manufacturer no longer supports discounts. We recommend monitoring the desired product via the wish list or price alert function - this way you will be automatically informed as soon as the price changes.

No guarantee that this is still the case (because everything has to be changed all the time), but a year ago it was: There is only one plan per account/email and product. If you redeem two annual subscriptions per code, you have two years at a time (instead of running in parallel). Prepaid codes are stored via "redeem" as a kind of voucher/payment method. As long as the automatic subscription renewal is not activated and there is no other payment method, nothing is automatically renewed. The downside: if you buy a larger plan and have an existing plan with the same apps, it may be that it runs in parallel (e.g. if Photoshop is included in both plans, but only one has more storage). It is best to contact Adobe, I think it depends on the constellation and the currently valid ToS.

With an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, you can activate your applications on two computers. To use your apps on a third computer, sign out of the app on one of the first two computers. Adobe, 30.09.2022

I share this idea! My software list is confusing and every year, with every software, I start to check again which licences have already been used and which have not. I could save the whole thing in Excel or something, but it's stupid to do it twice. Either a separate folder or the possibility to set a flag for the activated ones. Thank you!

The current period is extended by one year. If you were to buy two licences and redeem them both now, your period would be extended to two years. I hope this clarifies your question.

I don't know, but since they were also available the year before on one of the Black Cyber Days, there's probably a chance. By the way, you can also buy two and then redeem them, then you have two years.
