Qstarz BT-Q818XT

The fourth generation of the successful Bluetooth GPS receiver BT-Q818 from Qstarz is called BT-Q818XT. The built-in MTK II chipset with 66 channels for parallel reception, a 10 Hz update rate, and a sensitivity of -165 dBm ensures excellent reception. The A-GPS capability of the chipset allows GPS data to be captured in just a few seconds. The included tool from Qstarz stores satellite orbit data for 7 days, enabling the receiver to quickly access the stored data (approximately 15 seconds) and calculate a fix. A battery life of around 42 hours is a standout feature of this product. The 10 Hz update rate can be adjusted both via the slide switch on the receiver and with the included tool. The BT-Q818XT is compact and portable. The underside is equipped with a non-slip rubber, allowing the receiver to maintain stability on smooth surfaces. Three LED lights indicate GPS reception, Bluetooth connection, and battery status. On the left side, there is a slide switch for turning the device on and off or adjusting the 10 Hz update rate.
