The QED Subwoofer 40 was primarily designed for low capacitance, as this has been identified by QED as a crucial factor contributing to precise sound that maintains the rhythm of the original piece, which is essential for the bass range. Minimal timing errors are improved through the use of QED Complementary Conductor Technology combined with a special floating Zn/Mn ferrite jacket that absorbs very high-frequency interference signals outside the audible range. The QED Analoc plug design helps control eddy currents that can also affect the micro-timing of the audio signal, ensuring high fidelity from start to finish.
