Product details
The Malevolent by Paul Whittington Music is a semi-modular, fully analog synthesizer that offers a wide range of creative possibilities for music creators. With a purely analog signal path from Future Sound Systems, this synthesizer allows for individual sound design through numerous modulation options. The Malevolent is monophonic and patchable, meaning that each voice and envelope can be controlled independently. Equipped with two voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs), an LFO, and two envelopes, it provides a broad spectrum of sounds, complemented by a multimode 2-pole VCF and a VCA with overdrive control. The 32 mini keys on the keyboard enable direct control over sound generation, while compatibility with the Eurorack standard and a variety of inputs and outputs for patching via 3.5 mm mono jacks offer additional flexibility. The Malevolent is thus a powerful tool for creative sound experimentation and music production.
- Semi-modular design with extensive patching options
- Two voltage-controlled oscillators with various waveforms
- Multimode 2-pole voltage-controlled filter (VCF)
- Integrated arpeggiator and multifunctional joystick control
- Compatible with Eurorack standard for expanded use.
