Product details

This rain sensor reacts to raindrops or snow, which changes the resistance at the analogue output. You can evaluate the analogue output of the sensor with your Arduino or Raspberry Pi and see how much water is on the sensor. Rain can also be detected via the digital output; you can use the potentiometer to set the threshold value at which the digital output switches. An Arduino program example for reading out an analogue sensor can be found in the Arduino IDE under Examples/Analogue/AnalogueInput.
