Product details

This is a carbon fiber CFK round rod with a fiber content of 63%. The rod is pultruded (drawn). This manufacturing process arranges the fibers unidirectionally along the length, achieving a high fiber content, but the rods are susceptible to shear loads. For cutting, we recommend using a diamond cutting disc or saw rather than side cutters. Carbon has excellent mechanical and thermal properties, making it perfect for applications where stability and lightness are required. The surface is slightly porous and adheres well to 3D-printed parts. This allows for the construction of lightweight, complex, and stable frameworks, for example, for model building.
