Purecrea 16mm push-button with RGB illumination 5V - stainless steel

This 16 mm momentary button features a illuminated RGB LED ring that can be controlled in various colors via an Arduino or another microcontroller. On the back, there are two gold contacts for the button and four silver contacts, used once for the cathode and three times for the anode of the red, green, and blue LEDs. The illuminated RGB button already has the current limiting resistors integrated internally. This allows you to connect the LED lighting directly to your microcontroller without an additional resistor. The resistors for the lighting are designed for 5 V but can also operate at 3.3 V. If you want to use a higher voltage, such as 12 V DC or 24 V DC, you simply need to add a 1 kOhm resistor in series with the LED cathode to keep the LED current at approximately 20 mA.

You can best control the LED using three PWM outputs on the microcontroller, allowing you to operate your button in any color.
