Point. AC02 Alarm clock. The British designer Jasper Morrison has also created a genuine table alarm clock with value in this over-electronised age - with a purist, solid aluminium housing, slightly bevelled for optimum readability of the analogue dial. While the front is characterised by simple elegance with luminescent hour markers, the back features a simple, large rotary switch with a button and a small rotary control. The latter is used to set the alarm time, while setting the time and changing the battery is hidden under the cover. The alarm is switched on with the large rotary switch, while a small indicator light under the twelve brand changes from a black colour to a striking white dot as a visual check that the alarm is ready. The in-built dial illumination can also be activated for two to three seconds by gently pressing the illuminated ring button on the back. The popular morning wake-up or snooze function on the desk alarm clock is also activated by pressing the button on the back, with the alarm starting again after five minutes.
