The SE Hollowbody II Piezo features a newly developed LR Baggs / PRS Piezo system, offering both acoustic and electric guitar sounds in one instrument. The instrument is equipped with two volume controls (magnetics and piezo) and output jacks (mix/piezo and magnetics). This allows players to connect to the "mix/piezo" jack to blend the 58/15 "S" pickups with the acoustic signal from the piezo using the respective volume controls. Alternatively, players can connect the jacks separately, allowing the guitar to send the magnetic pickup signal to an amplifier and the piezo signal to an acoustic amplifier or via a DI box to a mixing console.
