PRS MT 15 V2 Mark Tremonti Guitar Amplifier Head
Lunchbox Hero – Now with Lead Channel Overdrive Control
"We knew we wanted an amp with low wattage. The challenge was to pack a lot of sound and features into a small box. We are all blown away by how it turned out. It will be great when someone takes it out of the box, sets everything to noon, and it sounds amazing." - Mark Tremonti
The MT 15 V2 is a commanding two-channel amplifier with balanced aggression and articulation. The MT 15 V2 exceeds its weight class with a big, fat sound, allowing for powerful rhythms while also producing singing lead tones from the amp. Whether recording, practicing, writing, or playing in a small space, this amplifier has everything you need.
Originally designed with heavy sounds in mind, the MT 15 V2 ultimately offers a lot for players of all genres. Like the PRS Archon amplifier, the MT 15 V2 features five gain stages before the master for a full, rich distortion. The lead channel delivers a big, chunky sound with massive, tight bass, yet it never loses its articulated note definition or great lead sound. The lead channel also includes a push/pull overdrive knob that removes two gain stages to create crisper "mid-gain" sounds. The clean channel is bright and crisp, making it well-suited for chords and fingerstyle playing—whether with or without a pick. The clean channel also features a push/pull boost knob that adds a bit of overdrive for old-school crunch. No matter which tone is chosen, the MT 15 V2 remains balanced across the entire spectrum with a sweet, smooth tone that won't blow your head off.
Additional features include an effects loop and bias controls accessible from the back for easier maintenance.
