Overdrive/Clean Boost floor effect unit for electric guitar
The PRS Horsemeat Transparent Overdrive is a circuit designed from the ground up to enhance the guitar sound without distorting it. Using germanium diodes, Horsemeat adds a throaty note to the guitar sound without sounding nasal or too high, and a harmonic richness by boosting both low and high frequencies while providing more headroom. Depending on the setting, the PRS Horsemeat can be used as a clean boost, an overdrive, or even to boost the distortion of an amp by slightly boosting the front end of the amp's preamp section.
