The seat mechanism connects the backrest with the seat, allowing them to move in sync when leaning back. As the backrest tilts slightly more than the seat, an angle is created between the upper body and thighs. This prevents the joints from remaining in a rigid position, allowing the body to stretch and promoting circulation. If you find a particular angle comfortable, you can lock it in place. You can also adjust the backrest's counter-pressure using a handwheel located under the seat to suit your body weight. Additionally, the lumbar support integrated into the lower backrest area supports the natural curvature of the spine, keeping your back upright and well-supported at all times. This relieves pressure on the abdominal area and helps prevent tension. The flat seat features slightly beveled front edges to prevent blood pooling in the thighs. The high foam density of the molded upholstery ensures excellent shape stability of the seat, maintaining high seating comfort.
