Fully automatic battery disconnect relay 12V / 140Amp. for simultaneous charging of 2 batteries suitable for all vehicles Fully automatic 140Amp. battery disconnect relay with active charge control. Disconnect relay with active charge control. Connection suitable for CAN bus vehicles (no alternator control voltage or ignition plus required). When the engine is running at a voltage of 13.3 volts or more, the second battery is connected without voltage peaks via the relay electronics of the cut-off relay. It allows 2 batteries to be charged simultaneously. When the relay is energised, the second battery is charged in addition to the starter battery. If the on-board voltage drops below 12.8V, the relay disconnects the starter battery from the second battery. This system prevents the starter battery from discharging and protects the sensitive electronics connected to the second battery from voltage peaks that can occur when starting the engine.
