The Profoto Rectangular Softbox can be set up in seconds thanks to its integrated speedring and produces impressive, soft light. Its shape casts gentle light with long shadow edges on the long side and harder light with short shadow edges on the short side, making it ideal for edge and strip lighting. This essential light modifier enhances the contours and profiles of objects and effectively separates the subject from the background.

With its all-in-one mounting system, the Profoto Strip Softbox is incredibly easy to set up. It can be folded in and out in seconds. Additionally, the softness and intensity of the light can be adjusted using the removable and interchangeable diffuser. The recessed front ensures an even distribution of naturally appearing light. Being heat-resistant, it is also compatible with flash units that use halogen lamps (up to 500 W) as continuous light.

Note: When used with ProHead at power level 10 (2400 Ws) and continuous light (500 W) at full effect, a maximum of 8 flashes per minute is recommended to prevent the connection ring from becoming too hot to touch.
