The optional Umbrella Backpanel works like a shower cap with an elastic band. Pull it over the front of your Translucent Umbrella to turn it into a softbox. The backpanel is a fabric that is white on the inside and black on the outside. The result of using the backpanel is that there will be no backward light leakage, which might influence the light quality on the subject when bouncing around. More light will also come though the umbrella and onto the subject. This makes it a great tool when you have limited power on the flash unit. The Umbrella Backpanel is offered in four sizes – S, M, L and XL.
