The Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono builds on the successful T1 model's formula, bringing improvements to sound quality and structure, challenging audiophile-level turntables in its class.
The T2 Super Phono is based on a larger CNC-machined chassis made from high-quality materials, entirely without plastic parts. The technically precise design ensures a sturdy structure that effectively eliminates unwanted vibrations and resonances. The glass platter is thicker and heavier for more stable speed and higher-quality playback. The 9" aluminum tonearm includes upgraded low-friction precision bearings designed with increased length and diameter in mind. The cherry on top is the factory-installed and adjusted Sumiko Rainier MM cartridge with an elliptical needle: this high-quality cartridge combined with an excellent phono preamp offers enjoyable playback of vinyl records. The Super Phono model also features an exceptionally high-quality, dual stage split passive MM phono preamplifier, which can also be switched off.
As usual, it includes an electronically controlled, high-precision AC motor, gold-plated RCA connectors, and a Pro-Ject Connect It E turntable cable designed specifically for turntable use and effectively shielded against interference.
