Pro-Ject T2 SUPER PHONO (Rainier)

The Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono builds on the circuit of the popular T1 model and offers improvements in sound quality and construction that challenge turntables in the audiophile range.

The foundation of the T2 Super Phono is a larger, CNC-machined chassis than that of its smaller counterpart, made from high-quality materials without any plastic parts. The technically precise design ensures a stable structure that effectively eliminates unwanted vibrations and resonances. The glass platter is thicker and heavier for more stable speeds and higher playback quality. The 9-inch aluminum tonearm features improved, low-friction precision bearings designed with the increased length and diameter in mind. Completing the package is the factory-installed and adjusted Sumiko Rainier MM cartridge with an elliptical stylus: this high-quality system, combined with an excellent turntable preamplifier, provides a pleasant listening experience from vinyl records. The Super Phono model also includes an exceptionally high-quality passive MM phono preamplifier with two gain stages, which can also be disabled.

As usual, it features an electronically controlled, high-precision AC motor, gold-plated RCA connectors, and a Pro-Ject Connect It E turntable cable specifically designed for turntables, which is effectively shielded against interference.
