Pro-Ject Pre Box S2 Digital

The Pre Box S2 Digital marks a new era for the S-Series components. For the first time ever, we use a double-mono construction with top-class D/A converters from ESS Sabre. This DAC is capable of converting high resolution files up to 32bit/768kHz PCM and DSD512. Pre Box S2 Digital is also the first of the products to support MQA hardware decoding. It also marks the premiere of the proprietary Optimum Transient Filter and proprietary clock circuitry. Digital audio is the art of the age, with proprietary clock design, the S2 Digital has been able to achieve jitter values of 100 femtoseconds, values that dwarf many highly regarded and respected clock generators. With organic propylene capacitors and thin film miniMELF resistors, this little wonder could build a clock that can declass much larger and more expensive hardware. With seven digital filters the customer can shape the sound according to his wishes. The Pre Box S2 Digital is fully remote controllable and can even control the computer's playback software.
