Pro-Ject Debut DC Esprit SB The Beatles 1964
Mid range, Semi-automaticProduct details
The first Debut turntable sparked a revolution in the Hi-Fi industry when it was released in the late 90s. For the first time since the introduction of the Compact Disc, a vinyl turntable established itself as a serious competitor in the Hi-Fi sector. The new Debut Carbon DC Esprit SB now sets a standard in its category for the next decade. It is the perfect product for the growing demand for high-quality yet affordable analog players with all speed options. The high-quality carbon tonearm offers increased stiffness and significantly less resonance compared to a metal tonearm. This material is typically not found in this price range due to its high cost. Along with other advancements, such as a larger diameter and mass of the platter, the new carbon tonearm ensures significantly better sound quality. The improved belt drive utilizes a smoothly running AC motor with effective decoupling from the chassis and TPE damping, as well as an ultra-precise AC generator for ultimate speed stability and vibration-free operation. Optimal user comfort is provided by a built-in speed switch. To play 78 RPM shellac records, all that is needed is a stylus change and repositioning of the drive belt.
