The new High-Definition 1-inch Pinnacle Ring Radiator tweeter, also used in the Polk Legend Premium Series, is based on more than 40 years of tweeter design, engineering, and prototyping experience. Developed by Polk Audio, it delivers crystal-clear highs without unwanted coloration or distortion. The Pinnacle tweeter features a finely tuned waveguide that significantly improves the dispersion of high-frequency energy with a wide optimum point, while the specially damped rear chamber suppresses unwanted resonance. The Hi-Res certified Pinnacle tweeter is designed for modern two-channel music reproduction as well as 3D multi-channel audio such as movies, sports broadcasts, and video games.

Polk developed the Turbine Cone specifically for its premium products to ensure natural reproduction of the midrange, which the human ear is particularly sensitive to. With Polk's proprietary foam core and special turbine shape, the Turbine Cone provides significantly more rigidity and damping without adding bulk. This allows you to hear every detail and experience smooth, detailed midrange and deeper bass.
