The successor to the current bestseller model Touch Lux 2, which has won several awards for its numerous functions, reliability, and quality, including the Red Dot Design Award 2014 for its captivating design concept, is a guarantee to build on previous successes. The PocketBook Touch Lux 3 has the basic features of the flagship Touch Lux series of e-book readers but offers a significant improvement with the latest E Ink-Carta display, which has a resolution of 1024 x 758 pixels in HD.

Thanks to the optical properties of the new E Ink-Carta display, a higher contrast ratio is possible than before. The result is much closer to printed books, with a lighter background and richer black that make reading even more enjoyable. The new technology improves contrast by up to 50 percent to 15:1 and increases reflectance by 20 percent compared to its predecessor. These improvements make it possible to display texts and graphics even more clearly. Reading in even the smallest fonts and working with detailed diagrams and graphics is now even more convenient. Like its predecessor, the PocketBook Touch Lux 3 features "De Lux" foreground lighting, which ensures maximum reading comfort in all lighting conditions.

Thanks to the integrated WLAN module, the device supports numerous online services such as Dropbox, Send-to-PocketBook, and PocketBook Sync. The pre-installed ReadRate app allows you to share your favorite books and get book recommendations from friends.

The device has 4 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32 GB via a microSD memory card slot. A powerful 1 GHz processor ensures smooth page turning and fast application loading. The PocketBook Touch Lux 3 supports a total of 18 book formats without conversions and opens four image formats such as JPEG, BMP, PNG, and TIFF.
