Conventional components such as transistors and resistors can also be plugged in. Circuits can be easily and quickly created or modified. The breadboards have a base plate or are equipped with adhesive film on the underside and can be connected in all directions. The breadboard is made of plastic with nickel-plated contact springs. Wiring is best done with flexible test leads or pre-assembled wire jumpers.
