The Planet VC-231 is an Ethernet over VDSL2 converter that operates using two network technologies: Ethernet and VDSL2, providing ultra-fast data rates over existing copper telephone lines. As a result, you do not have to install new cables. The connection distance can reach up to 100/1000 Mbps over 300 meters and 50/2 Mbps over 1.4 kilometers for long-distance lines.

  • Voice and data communication can be shared on the existing telephone wire simultaneously
  • Hardware IGMP snooping for multimedia service (VC-234)
  • Support for up to 1536 bytes packet size, 802.1Q VLAN tag transparent
