Uncompromising gaming machine - The gameplay of the NEOGEO AES+ is not achieved through emulation - the console instead utilises its proven ASIC chips, which have been re-engineered to modern standards to accurately replicate the hardware and software of the original. The system plays games natively from new and old cartridges for an authentic retro gaming experience. No emulation, no FPGA approximation, but the true rebirth of the console, immortalised directly in silicon.

Retro gaming of the future - The NEOGEO AES+ preserves the original look and feel while offering modern convenience features such as a low-latency HDMI display output (as well as the original AV output for CRT enthusiasts), DIP switches for language selection, overclocking and various display modes, as well as the ability to permanently save high scores (memory card required).

Arcade authenticity - The NEOGEO AES+ includes the legendary Arcade Stick (wired), a 1:1 replica of the original stick with a control panel modelled on that of SNK's legendary MVS arcade machines. Designed specifically for the NEOGEO AES+, the arcade stick connects directly to the console via the classic 15-pin connector (making it backwards compatible with the original 90's consoles and upwards compatible with the original 90's arcade sticks) for an unrivalled arcade experience at home.
