Pioneer SC-LX501 + BDP-X300

Product details

Pioneer's Direct-Energy HD power amplifiers deliver fine, well-balanced sound, huge power reserves and optimum efficiency - they sound great, stay cool when in use and leave a pleasingly small mark on
your electricity bill. But not every home cinema fan needs nine of them. That's why Pioneer has designed the entry into the most sophisticated receiver class with seven channels, but otherwise has taken the usual generous amount of space on the equipment shelf. Users of the SC-LX 501 do not have to do without the opulent network and streaming capabilities that Pioneer's new streaming board offers. In other words: Tidal, Deezer and Spotify are the best streaming services on board and TuneIn the richest Internet radio.

Thanks to Bluetooth, Airplay and (after free update) Google Cast, apps on smartphone or tablet always find the best way to the system, and audiophile HiRes downloads on the home NAS run smoothly with resolutions up to 24bit/192kHz or quad-rate DSD (11.2MHz). If a LAN cable is always recommended for the highest data rates, the SC-LX 501 can be reached comfortably and stably without cables thanks to its integrated dual-band WiFi.

Those who have acquired a taste for streaming with the SC-LX 501 will soon be able to integrate it into a house-spanning multi-room network thanks to Fire Connect preparation. The SC-LX 501 is similarly seamlessly equipped on the home cinema side: decoders for the object-based sound formats Dolby Atmos and dts:X, 4K image processing including 4K scaling of normal HD material, MCACC-Pro measuring system with Reflex Optimizer and the newly designed, high-resolution GUI make the 501 a future-proof, universal and user-friendly multimedia centre.
