Product details
This SACD player features a direct construction with separate shielding and dual transformers. The shielding isolates the audio unit from the power unit, allowing the signal transmission to take the shortest and simplest path. This reduces noise and distortion, resulting in crystal-clear sound quality.
Thanks to its Hi-Bit DSP technology, the Pioneer PD-50 also ensures extremely precise and fast processing for significantly higher accuracy. Auto Level Control compensates for volume differences between individual tracks, so you don't have to constantly adjust the volume. The player is compatible with Direct Stream Digital (DSD) discs – the optimal format for storing extremely high-resolution audio content on SACD. Additionally, you can connect your iPod, iPhone, or iPad via the digital connection to enjoy significantly better sound quality compared to analog connections.
A front USB port also allows for direct playback of music files from USB flash drives (MP3, MPEG-4, AAC, WMA). The Sound Retriever significantly enhances the sound quality of compressed audio files for a listening experience in CD quality.
Other features include:
- The Pure Audio Listening mode ensures flawless playback of analog sounds
- Charging function for iPod/iPhone/iPad.
