Pichler Sky Master 3.0m Arf Tow Plane

The Skymaster, with its 3000 mm wingspan, is a true large model. It is excellently suited as a tow model for gliders, and a stable tow coupling is included in the delivery. The Skymaster is also a lot of fun during normal flight operations. Due to its size, the Skymaster is easily recognizable from a greater distance. The underside of the wings is designed in dark blue, which further aids in optimal position recognition. For propulsion, we recommend our Boost 180 brushless motor with BMG 80 gearbox. With this setup, we can tow gliders weighing over 10 kg or with a wingspan of 5 meters. We have measured a static thrust of about 17 kg with this motorization and RED POWER LiPo batteries.

Of course, gasoline engines with a displacement of 70 cc (trainer operation) to 120 cc (glider towing) can also be installed.
