• The CPU supports 6 DIMMs per memory channel.
• You can use RDIMM or LRDIMM memory. LRDIMM is recommended when large memory capacities are required.
• Registered DIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules should not be mixed. Therefore, when upgrading, you should know which memory is already present or upgrade completely to either RDIMM or LRDIMM.
• Memory slots without a processor present must not be populated.
• Higher memory frequencies may adapt to other memory clock rates in the system environment and support correspondingly slower clock rates.
