• The CPU supports 6 DIMMs per memory channel.
• You can use RDIMM or LRDIMM memory. LRDIMM memory is particularly recommended when large memory capacities are required.
• Registered DIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules must not be mixed. Therefore, when upgrading, you should know which memory is already present or completely upgrade to either RDIMM or LRDIMM memory.
• Memory slots without a processor present must not be populated.
• Higher memory frequencies may adapt to other memory speeds in the system environment and support correspondingly slower clock rates.
