Information on memory configuration: The following technical specifications should be considered in advance: The device can have non-ECC UDIMM (without Error-Correction-Code), ECC DIMM (with Error-Correction-Code), or RDIMM (Registered DIMM) RAM installed. RDIMM memory is recommended for achieving large memory capacities. The different memory technologies (non-ECC UDIMM / ECC UDIMM / RDIMM) must not be mixed. If a memory upgrade is to be performed with the existing RAM, it must be checked which memory technology (non-ECC UDIMM / ECC UDIMM / RDIMM) is already present. If memory modules with higher clock rates than specified by the system are offered, the memory clock will automatically adjust to the system specifications.
