This 24GB (3x8GB) RAM is 100% compatible with the Tyan S7018. Information regarding memory configuration: The following technical specifications should be considered in advance: ECC DIMM (with Error-Correction Code) or RDIMM (Registered DIMM) RAM can be installed in the device. RDIMM memory is recommended when large memory capacities are needed. The different memory technologies (ECC / RDIMM) must not be mixed. If a memory upgrade is to be performed with the existing RAM, it must be checked which memory technology (ECC / RDIMM) is currently in use. A higher memory clock speed of the memory module automatically adjusts to the memory clock speed set by the system. This can especially be the case with larger capacities. Memory slots without a processor present must not be populated.
