This 24GB (3x8GB) RAM is 100% compatible with the Fujitsu Primergy RX300 S6.

Information on memory configuration: The following technical specifications should be considered in advance: ECC DIMM (with Error-Correction-Code) or RDIMM (Registered DIMM) RAM can be installed in the device. RDIMM memory is recommended when large memory capacities are to be achieved. The different memory technologies (ECC / RDIMM) must not be mixed. If a memory upgrade is to be made with the existing RAM, it must be checked which memory technology (ECC / RDIMM) is present. A higher memory clock of the memory module automatically adjusts to the memory clock specified by the system. This can especially be the case with larger capacities. Memory slots without a processor must not be populated.

Principles of memory configuration: The memory slots are organized in groups of 3. In each group of 3, a maximum of 2 slots can be used for UDIMM ECC memory. In each group of 3, a maximum of 2 slots can be populated with 4Rank RDIMM memory. The different groups of 3 slots do not need to have the same capacities.

Memory configuration for good system performance: Distribute the memory evenly across the memory slots and evenly across the CPUs. With 3 identical memories per group of 3 slots, performance can be up to three times faster compared to populating the group of 3 slots with only one memory. If more than one CPU is present, the RAM should be populated identically per CPU (mirrored to the other CPU).
