Thanks to four temperature settings, this test model is suitable for both baby food and pasta water. The stainless steel cooker achieved good overall marks for function and handling. The only drawback is the temperature accuracy.

- Enormous folding angle of the lid facilitates pouring behaviour
- Can reach programmed temperatures very reliably
- Precise scale in cups
- Housing gets very hot during the cooking process
This model still has a very respectable, but ultimately longer cooking time (scil. 3:34 min, Te v. 20 - 100 °c). The scale of the model has been divided very precisely, but rather unconventionally, into the number of cups that can be served with the water at the end (scil. 3, 4, 5 and 6 cups). This can be useful when boiling tea water, for example.

- smooth handling
- Keep warm mode
- moderate cooking time (TØ: 4:07 min)
This kettle offers the widest range between usable minimum and maximum volume (Vmin - Vmax: 0.25-1.7l): For example, it can also be used to prepare individual portions of tea. The cooking time (TØ: 4:07min) is decent, but not ideal. For the most part, it is easy to operate via the base.

The Philips kettle in stainless steel look performs very well in the test. Four different temperatures can be set via buttons on the base. Minus points are awarded for the not optimally non-slip feet.
