Phanteks Y-cable for 3-pin fan

The Dutch brand Phanteks started with excellent CPU coolers that came with outstanding fans from the very beginning. Consequently, the next step was to offer individual fan series. In the third step, these fans were then found in the cases of the Enthoo series. So what is the expected fourth step for the young but already highly regarded brand Phanteks? Exactly, case accessories!

Part of the accessory offering is the Y-splitter presented here, a black sleeved cable adapter approximately 11 cm long with connectors, at one end of which two 3-pin fans can be connected, while the other end is to be connected to a 3-pin fan header. This way, two fans can be powered through a single fan header using the splitter cable.

The Phanteks Y-cable can be used with any standard 3-pin fan on any 3-pin fan header, but it is particularly well-suited to expand the connection options of the PWM hubs in the Enthoo cases. Connected 3-pin fans are automatically PWM-controlled when the main cable of the PWM hub is plugged into the 4-pin PWM header of a compatible motherboard.

A PWM fan hub is already pre-installed at the back of the motherboard tray in the cases of the Enthoo Primo, Luxe, and Pro series. However, it can also be purchased separately as part of Phanteks' accessory range and can then be used in any case.
