This ultrasonic sensor features an M30 housing and two switching outputs. It is ideally suited for the detection of most solids and liquids. The surface of the object should be oriented perpendicular to the direction of sound propagation. The specified range refers to a flat 10x10 cm plate. For smaller, uneven, or sound-absorbing objects, the detection range of the sensor is reduced. Devices are available in three versions with different detection ranges: 500 mm, 2000 mm, and 6000 mm. The sensors have two switching outputs, and the switching points and behavior (normally open, normally closed, window operation) can be set without tools using a 4-pin temperature/programming plug. The measuring window can be set and electronically stored using the same plug.
