Wer eine größere Summe in seinem Camcorder investieren kann, sollte sich ein Modell der 900er-Baureihe kaufen. Für Interessenten des HDC-SD99 könnte es sich jedoch durchaus lohnen, lieber etwas tiefer in die Geldbörse zu greifen und den HDC-SD800 anzuschaffen. Seine Bilddarstellung ist einfach harmonischer und professioneller...
… In der Bildqualität legt die HDC-SD800 vor allem messtechnisch vor…Bei wenig Licht kann sie die Leistung der Vorjahresmodelle toppen, muss sich aber dem neuen Sensor von Canon geschlagen geben.
... Mit seinem Gewicht von 385 Gramm ist der SD 800 zwar das zweitschwerste Gerät im Test, der Camcorder liegt trotzdem gut in der Hand.
