Die HC-X800 ist ein günstiges Gerät mit hervorragender Bildqualität und manueller Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten. Allerdings verzichtet man bei diesem Gerät auf Audioanschlüsse, Zubehörring und Sucher. Zudem ist liefert das Display eine schlechte Auflösung.

Der Panasonic besticht durch seine sehr gute Aufnahmequalität und kommt dabei auch mit wenig Licht zurecht. Zudem arbeitet der Bildstabilisator sehr zuverlässig und die Verarbeitung befindet sich auf hohem Niveau.

Insgesamt ist der Full HD Camcoder ein gutes ber hochpreisiges Gerät, das aber sein Geld wert ist. Durch die verschiedenen Einstellmöglichkeiten, ist er für den Nutzer flexibel einsetzbar und auch wenn Anschlüsse für ein externes Mikro und Kopfhörer fehlen, ist dies nicht weiter tragisch, da das eingebaute Mikrofon gute Tonaufnahmen erzeugt.
