The Panasonic HC-X20 4K professional camcorder is a compact 4K 50p/60p camcorder that offers high mobility and a range of features to suit a variety of needs, including reportage, documentaries, weddings and events. It has a large 1-inch sensor and a powerful 20x zoom lens with a focal length of 24.5mm wide-angle to 490mm telephoto (KB). Videos it records include 4K at up to 60 frames or FHD at up to 120 frames. It supports 4:2:2 10-bit 4K 30p/25p video recording with the new, effective HEVC codec. Super slow motion (120/ 100 fps) and variable frame rates (2 to 60 fps) offer a wide range of creative possibilities. In difficult shooting situations, the HC-X20's hybrid image stabiliser makes things much easier. The 5-axis optical image stabiliser (OIS) detects and corrects electronic image stabilisation shake across all five axes. Its HD live streaming capabilities are also important. The X20 supports a variety of streaming protocols (RTMP/RTMPS/RTP/RTSP), making it even more flexible. Professional videographers will appreciate the large, ergonomic handle, three manual adjustment rings on the lens, built-in ND filters as well as the XLR interfaces and a double SD card slot. More advanced interfaces such as SDI, TC In/Out and LAN as well as VLOG recording options are offered by the sister model HC-X2.
