The Palmer Speaker Simulator PDI 03 - available in 2, 4, 8 and 16 ohms

The Palmer Speaker Simulator PDI03 combines load impedance, signal splitter and DI box specifically for guitarists. All functions are optimized for live and recording use.

Instead of a speaker cabinet, the PDI-03 is connected directly to the amplifier output, the signal is no longer picked up by microphone, but is fed directly into mixers, tape machines, etc. after a special filter stage.

This allows especially amplifiers without master volume to be driven fully into power amp distortion, the annoying volume problem is eliminated.

The filter simulates the characteristics of different speakers and cabinet types: open 2 x 12'' combo, closed 4 x 12'' cabinet with its typical bass pressure and stack with "V" setting of an equalizer, "American" or "English" speaker and Presence/Bright.

The volume of the nine possible combinations can be adjusted individually. Four unfiltered adjustable line outs can drive effect devices.

Speakers for live monitoring are connected via the Thru socket, the load impedance is automatically switched off. The maximum input power is 100 W without speakers connected.
