Palmer Audio MS 02 Microphone Splitter

Palmer microphone splitters are used when a signal source has to be split to several inputs. For example, if the microphone signal has to be fed simultaneously to the hall mixing console, the monitor mixing console on the stage, and - since the radio broadcasts the event - also to the OB truck. This requires a "1 in 3" microphone split box. By using generously dimensioned low-frequency transformers, the sound remains unaffected, but ground loop hum is safely eliminated. The PMS02 can also be used for conversion from unbalanced to balanced and vice versa.
