The jump starter cable has a length of 2.5 meters with a cross-sectional area of 6 mm². Thanks to its length and cross-sectional area, it is possible to start vehicles with gasoline engines of up to 1.6 liters displacement, as a peak current of up to 150 A can be achieved, while a continuous current of 75 Amperes is provided. It is suitable for voltages of 6 V and 12 V. To prevent high wear, the Osram BatteryStart starter cable 150A is coated with flexible yet durable PVC. The insulated grips on the clamps provide additional safety and durability. The different colors of the cables and the grips on the clamps reduce the risk of confusion between the positive and negative terminals, thus minimizing the risk of incorrect connections to the battery.
