The Free Ride 28 fits closely to the back like a second skin while freeriding in any terrain. This is primarily due to the flat, elastic hip belt, which provides control in every situation and reliable support. The soft back pads conform to the back without hindering the movement of the vertebrae. On the inside, the backpack's back can be enhanced with the Spine Protector. The spine protector is certified according to motorcycle standards and is sold separately. It can be easily slid into a separate inner pocket. In addition to your safety, the environment is also a focus: the freeride backpack is completely PFC-free and climate-neutral thanks to recycled polyester.

To adjust the backpack optimally while on the go, it can be quickly compressed using the side-integrated straps, folding down to a flat-fitting second skin on the back. For rappelling in steep chutes or during short walking sections, the freeride backpack has all the necessary attachment options for skis, ice axes, or ropes, and it also includes the proven helmet net, emergency map, and hydration system preparation. All features are well stowed on the outside to avoid getting caught in rough terrain. The freeride backpack also offers enough space for skins and crampons, allowing for great flexibility on the mountain. In a separate safety compartment, the emergency equipment is well stored and quickly accessible, while all other items in the main compartment can be reached from the front or back.
